Capital City F.C (nicknamed Cap-City) is a premier amateur men’s soccer club that competes in the Premier Division of the Washington Premier League (WPL). The Club has solidified its place in the league as a prime contender since inception in 2013. Cap City was previously affiliated with the Washington International Soccer League (WISL) and played their final game in the Fall of 2012, where they won the league title. The Cap City roster consist of players of different nationalities as well as playing backgrounds. The club is very diverse, and growing. Cap City is Owned by Michael Bayard, run by Jouons/Play Footy Inc. Coached and managed by Bayard, Pierre Hedji and Elvis Hedji. Cap City was founded by Bayard in 1999 (Originally named Fatty’s FC, switching names in 2011) and has since been a well recognized club in the metropolitan.
Our mission is to win the U.S Open Cup, and to lay a foundation for youth players to experience exceptional soccer.
